Resumo: The nasolabial cyst is a rare non-odontogenic cyst, located in soft tissues of the nasolabial groove and nose wing, and may even lead to facial asymmetry. Its diagnosis is clinical, confirmed by anatomopathological examination or radiographic examination. Its surgical treatment has an excellent prognosis and an unlikely recurrence. The objective of this work is to describe and analyze the characteristics, diagnosis, and treatment of the nasolabial cyst, in addition to reporting the incident cases in a population in the “Triângulo Mineiro”. For that, the clinical records of all patients with nasolabial cyst were diagnosed and treated by the services: 1. Oral Pathology Laboratory at the Federal University of Uberlândia and 2. Oral Pathology Laboratory at the University of Uberaba, between 1978 and 2018 (CID10: K09). These data were collected from a semi-structured questionnaire and counted as an inclusion criterion for all patients diagnosed retrospectively with the injury (CID10: K09. 1; K09; K09.8). Cases with inconsistent clinical and histopathological findings, absent or with medical records with failure to fill in, were considered as exclusion criteria. As a result, Nasolabial Cysts represented 5.25% of the sample of nonodontogenic cysts and 0.51% of all cysts of the maxillomandibular complex. The female sex was the most affected, in addition to melanoderma patients (63.63%) and between the fifth and sixth decade of life. When compared with the other types of cysts found in the head and neck region, the nasolabial cyst becomes relatively rare. Affecting mainly women, adults and melanoderms. The lesion is generally asymptomatic and occurs mostly in the wing of the nose. Keywords:
